ORBITAL ATK ANNOUNCES GRANT AWARD RECIPIENTS

The Orbital ATK Missile Defense and Controls (MD&C) Classroom Grant mission is to inspire and advance the future of STEM education for the benefit of the aerospace industry.  Orbital ATK believes one of the most significant means to inspire and advance the future of STEM education is to fund grants which provide for the unmet and unfunded educational need of students.  This program promotes the aerospace education activities in classrooms from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grades.  The program encourages development of innovative aerospace activities within the prescribed curriculum. The following schools and projects were recipients of the Orbital ATK Classroom Grant Award for 2017:

Leeds Elementary School - Lindsay Faulkner - Model Rocket Research Project
North East Elementary School - Marian Martino - Weather Station
